09:00 – Mission Briefing & Departure from Pula

The adventure starts at Pula Marina, where guests board a Chris Craft high-speed military-style speedboat equipped for stealthy approaches and rapid escapes. Before we launch, guests receive a classified mission briefing outlining the locations, history, and tactical maneuvers required for the day’s expedition.

Our guide, an expert in Croatia’s hidden military past, reveals the secret history behind the locations we are about to visit. As the engine roars to life, we leave the harbor at full throttle, the first mission awaiting us on the horizon.

Actions Taken:

  • Receive mission briefing on WWII bunkers, Cold War bases & secret submarine shelters.

  • Assign roles (navigator, lookout, intelligence officer).

  • Load historical maps & declassified documents onto tablets for live navigation.

  • Set course at full speed toward our first target.

10:00 – The Forgotten Yugoslav Submarine Base (Hidden in a Coastal Cliff)

Our first stop is a decommissioned Yugoslav submarine base, buried deep within the cliffs of an isolated island. Once a strategic hideout for submarines evading NATO detection, this eerie, abandoned site is filled with rusting equipment, military insignia, and stories lost to history.

We execute a stealth approach, cutting engines and gliding silently into the entrance of the underground base. Flashlights cut through the darkness as we enter the tunnels, exploring command rooms, torpedo storage areas, and crumbling bunkers left untouched since the collapse of Yugoslavia.

Actions Taken:

  • Silent speedboat entry into a former Yugoslav submarine base.

  • Explore declassified military tunnels & underground docks.

  • Decode old tactical maps & military communications left behind.

  • Take photographs of abandoned command rooms & submarine docking stations.

12:00 – Minefield & Sunken Warship Observation

The next mission takes us to a historical naval battlefield, where a WWII-era minefield still exists beneath the water’s surface. These dangerous waters, once used to deter enemy ships, now serve as a silent reminder of past conflicts. Nearby, a sunken warship rests on the seabed, hidden from view but marked on military maps.

We slow down the speedboat for a tactical observation mission, using sonar scanning and naval charts to uncover the wreck’s precise location. The guide explains the naval tactics used in the battle, detailing how the ship met its fate.

Actions Taken:

  • Navigate near a historical naval minefield (from a safe distance).

  • Use sonar technology & old military maps to pinpoint the sunken warship.

  • Learn about the ship’s role in wartime & how it was lost.

  • Observe the area, taking photos of the battlefield’s eerie, undisturbed waters.

14:00 – Hidden Military Base & Bunker Complex on Lošinj

Next, we infiltrate an abandoned military base on Lošinj, once an integral part of Yugoslavia’s Cold War defenses. These overgrown bunkers, missile silos, and radar towers still hold remnants of secret military experiments, coded messages, and disarmed explosives.

Here, we navigate a labyrinth of underground passageways, unveiling camouflaged sniper towers, hidden storage chambers, and command posts left behind by the Yugoslav army.

Actions Taken:

  • Stealth approach & secure entry into a former Cold War military base.

  • Explore abandoned missile silos & command rooms.

  • Analyze Soviet-era radio frequencies & encrypted messages.

  • Take part in a smuggler-style escape drill—race back to the speedboat under “enemy pursuit.”

16:00 – High-Speed Chase & Naval Evasion Tactics

Leaving Lošinj, we simulate an intense high-speed military extraction, executing tactical evasive maneuvers at full speed. Guests will experience authentic naval escape tactics, learning how military boats outrun and evade enemies using speed, decoy maneuvers, and sudden directional shifts.

This high-energy segment transforms the Chris Craft into a getaway vessel, pushing its limits as we navigate tight island passages, hidden bays, and uncharted coastal routes.

Actions Taken:

  • High-speed escape drill using real naval evasion techniques.

  • Perform S-curve, zig-zag, and hard turns to simulate naval pursuit.

  • Execute a precision docking maneuver in a hidden bay.

19:00 – Sunset Reflections at Brijuni Islands

The final part of the journey brings us to the Brijuni Islands, where we slow down and reflect on the day’s discoveries. As the sun sets behind the islands, our guide shares final declassified stories of espionage, sabotage missions, and Cold War intrigue that shaped this region’s military past.

The adventure concludes with a slow cruise back to Pula, the V8 engine purring beneath us as we leave behind the ghosts of the past.
